Horticulturalist, creative writer and scholar Kendra Hamilton is taking us along on her visit to the farm and wooded lands of J. Drew Lanham in Edgefield, South Carolina J. Drew Lanham is the Alumni Distinguished Professor of wildlife ecology at Clemson University. Also a creative writer, ornithologist, and a self-described "hunter-conservationist,” Lanham Says,
“I love watching all wild things but birds capture my heart. I envy their flighted freedom and uninhibited expression through song. I hunt autumn’s changing and spring’s regaining to meter my life’s winding in the web. I honor those whitetail and wild turkey that infrequently fall by my design as sustenance for body, mind and spirit.”
